What counts as a communication?

Each message to one member counts as one communication, including campaigns and automated messages. Automatic pass updates do not count; a retry counts once. Your allowance resets on your billing date.

We notify you at 80%. At 100%, all messages stop until reset, including welcome, birthday and milestone messages. Messages due during the pause are skipped. Pass updates continue. External provider charges are separate.

What happens when my program grows?

If your member count passes a band, we notify you and apply the next plan on your next monthly bill. Annual plans keep their price until renewal. Deleted members still count in the current cycle. Mid-cycle upgrades prorate both the price difference and extra communications.

Managed on the console: 3 months at the monthly rate, 12 months with the last 2 free, or a year upfront. On Shopify, Managed uses private monthly or annual plans. Annual Scale on Shopify bills the Business annual base plus monthly usage above 20,000 members.
